Hey y’all! 👋 I’m Ashley! Welcome to The Art of Homemaking! I’m an Okie born and bred, married to my college sweetheart, and mama to the two sweetest boys on earth! Becoming a wife and mama instilled in me a desire for HOME. To create a place of belonging, peace, rest, simplicity and JOY with lots of lots of laughter and good food. 😋
I’m most at rest in my home when we’re NOT in the middle of a project (😂) and I’ve simplified and cozy-fied our space. It’s a process I’m still learning as we create the home and family culture we envision, but we’re getting there one day at a time!
We’re currently finishing up renovating our 1960’s 1200 sq ft home and about to start our new modern craftsman build on our own little piece of Oklahoma! Thanks for following along – I hope you get a little bit of inspiration and vision for creating a place of belonging in your own home! 💜
